This is more than just a kayak camping trip. It’s an adventure that lets you experience the river in a completely different way. You will paddle down the rapids and natural waterfalls, swim in turquoise water, jump off the cliffs, camp under the stars, wake up to the sound of the river, and indulge in the beautiful scenery around you.
Mreznica River is one of the most beautiful Croatian rivers. Clean emerald water, untouched nature, deep karst canyon, and more than 90 travertine waterfalls make this canyon and river irresistible.

KAYAKING & CAMPING MREZNICA RIVER
This is more than just a kayak camping trip. It’s an adventure that lets you experience the river in a completely different way. You will paddle down the rapids and natural waterfalls, swim in turquoise water, jump off the cliffs, camp under the stars, wake up to the sound of the river, and indulge in the beautiful scenery around you.

EQUIPMENT
Each guest will be provided with basic kayaking equipment and safety gear: kayak (we usually use 2-person sit-on-top inflatable kayaks), paddle, water shoes, neoprene suit, life jacket, and helmet. We will provide you with a waterproof barrel where you can store food, water, and personal belongings during the trip.
Provided camping equipment: tent (for 2) and mat
Things to bring with you: sleeping bag (we can provide one for 5 € per day), water shoes or sneakers, long-sleeved shirt/s for kayaking, swimming suit, sunscreen, towel. Plan for a budget for snacks and 1 picnic lunch (we will stop in a local shop where you can buy groceries).

Day 1: Mreznica Canyon Kayaking
We will pick you up in your accommodation in Zagreb or Plitvice Lakes area, and drive to the small village of Primislje. Your guide will give you instructions on paddling and safety, and our adventure can start.
You will kayak through a narrow deep gorge, swim in the emerald water, climb the waterfalls, jump off the cliffs and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Picnic lunch on the river.
After a whole day on the water, we will set up a camp by the river and enjoy a homemade meal.

Night: Etno Park (Robinson-Style Camp)
Day 2: Mreznica River Kayaking
After a good night’s sleep and a delicious breakfast, we continue paddling down the rapids and waterfalls. You will have enough time for swimming and relaxing. Picnic lunch on the river.
We finish our adventure in the afternoon hours and drive you back to Zagreb or Plitvice Lakes, depending on your next destination.

In the morning, after a well-deserved rest and breakfast, we continue our adventure down the river. There’s a nice restaurant on the river not far from the camp, where we can stop for coffee and ice cream.
We finish our adventure in the afternoon hours and drive you back to Zagreb or Plitvice Lakes, depending on your next destination.
Optional visit to Plitvice Lakes on request.
