HOMEMADE STRUDEL FROM PLITVICE LAKES

We got the chance to see how our wonderful host Ivona from Plitvice Lakes prepares strudel for our guests. It’s not just any kind of strudel. It’s made out of apples from their garden of course and homemade pasta baked in a traditional way “under the bell”. The iron bell is covered with hot ashes and voila! a tasty desert is ready in only 20 minutes time!

Ivona is the owner of our favourite guesthouse in Plitvice Lakes National Park area where we accommodate our guests on tours passing through the region. If you book early enough it’s very probable that there will be spaces available in Ivona’s guesthouse, don’t wait too long!
