ADVENTURE SAILING BREAK
Adventure Sailing Break
This Dubrovnik Adventure Sailing Break is ideal for active people who want to see as much of the Dubrovnik area but have limited time. This short cruise takes you paddleboarding, cycling, swimming, and snorkeling on four islands. But don’t worry, days are structured so you have enough time to unwind and relax.
Your home for this adventure will be a comfortable sailing catamaran that easily accommodates 10 persons. It is big enough for everyone to have space without feeling cramped.
On our Dubrovnik Adventure Sailing Break, we visit the islands of the Elaphiti Archipelago: thirteen islands stretching west from Dubrovnik. However, only three of those islands have people living on them year-round: Lopud, Kolocep, and Sipan, and Kolocep and Lopud are completely car-free. You will also discover a national park situated on the island of Mljet – you will cycle around two saltwater lakes and visit the islet with the monastery in one of those lakes. Finally, we visit the Peljesac peninsula, home of some of the best Croatian wines, and a place to enjoy the freshest oysters and mussels.
Our experienced local guides and skippers avoid overcrowded destinations, ensuring you get the most authentic short cruise experience. You can dine with local families in their homes and enjoy good food and excellent wine. Friendly dolphins or tuna in the area often escort our yachts. The sea is blue, clear, warm, and friendly.
Dubrovnik Adventure Sailing Break departs Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday and includes three nights on the boat and one night in Komolac (Dubrovnik) guesthouse. Families with children aged 8 and up are welcome on family departures.
This is a non-smoking holiday, which means we ask our travellers to refrain from smoking in the company of other guests. You can easily combine this short cruise with our other short experiences all over Croatia.

DETAILED ITINERARY – Adventure Sailing Break
Day 1: Arrival at Destination
Arrival and check-in at the guesthouse in Komolac bay, 8 km (4.9 mi) from Dubrovnik Old Town. After settling in, you can take a short walk around the marina in Komolac or relax in the guesthouse. If you prefer to see the city, local buses or taxis make it easy to reach Dubrovnik’s Old Town for a straightforward visit; walk the city walls, enjoy ancient architecture, or have a delicious meal.
Head back to the guesthouse in the evening and get ready for the sailing trip starting tomorrow.
Night: Komolac (Dubrovnik) guest house
Day 2: Sailing out to Elaphiti Islands
The sailing base is located right next to the guesthouse in Komolac. Breakfast will be served at the guesthouse in the morning. You will also have a chance to try paddleboards before stopping for lunch in one of the best fish restaurants in the Dubrovnik area.

A lush pine forest hides two saltwater lakes. You can cycle from our mooring to the lakes and, time permitting, take a boat to the small island on the larger of the lakes and, time permitting, visit an abandoned monastery built in the 13th century.
Later in the afternoon, we sail to a serene bay on Mljet or on the Peljesac peninsula, where we will spend the night.

Day 4: Peljesac Peninsula paddleboarding, swimming, and snorkeling
We spend the morning paddleboarding, swimming, and snorkeling before we sail east towards Broce and Ston. The town’s stone walls are 5 km (3 mi) long and were built to protect salt production at a time when salt was an important export product of the Dubrovnik Republic. You can walk around the walls that connect Ston and Mali Ston (Little Ston), famous for its oyster farms. Peljesac is also one of the best Croatian wine-making regions, famous for its red wines. You will sail by the vineyards perched on the steep southern slopes of the peninsula, and do not miss the chance to try those wines.
In the afternoon, we return to a quiet bay or, depending on the weather, Luka Sipanska for the night.
