GO EXPLORE CROATIA – TERMS & CONDITIONS

General information

Go Explore Croatia is a brand operated by 2 different Croatian travel companies that share the same vision and way of operating: Go Explore and Eko Explorations. Depending on the trip you choose you will be directed to one of these companies for handling details such as payments.

Applications and payments

Customer can apply for tours on line through booking form, email, telephone reservations or through our partner agencies. During the application process customer pays 30% of the total price while 70% has to be paid latest 21 days before the foreseen tour date. Exceptionally deadline can be shorter in cases when special payment conditions are being stressed or when the deadline for the tour  is less than 21 days.

For “query reservations” Customers have to make advance payment on account per prices stipulated in organizers price catalogue. If the client does not accept confirmed reservation which was made per clients request, organizer has the right to keep the advance payment to be able to cover the reservation costs.

In case when the service is being paid and confirmed, each change in dates made by the Customer is going to be paid pursuant to the price catalogue and in accordance with the company rules.

Tour price

The price of each tour is listed on this website and includes everything that is being stated in the tour description.

Organizers right on cancellation

The organizer has the right to cancel the Tour in case of the circumstances that cannot be avoided or eliminated, and if they had occurred at the time of advertising and/or selling of the services/programs the organizer would have had reasonable grounds not to issue and receive requests for the arrangements.

The organizer has the right to cancel the Tour if there is insufficient number of customers anticipated for a specific arrangement. With the program for each package tour, organizer announces minimum number of required passengers. The organizer is obliged to inform all the customers about the cancellation at least 5 days prior to the Tour, and is obliged to return in advance paid amounts.

Traveler cancellation: Day trips

If the traveler cancels or adjourns the travel, he/she must do so in writing (e-mail). Date of the written cancellation sets the ground for the calculation of the costs, which is going to be charged by the organizer. Cancellation charges per person (percentage of total price):

  • 8 or more days prior to arrival – 0%
  • 2-7 days prior to arrival – 50%
  • 1 day prior to arrival or no show – 100%

Please have in mind that we deduct bank fees from the total refund amount.

Traveler cancellation: Multiday trips

If the traveler cancels or adjourns the travel, he/she must do so in writing. Date of the written cancellation sets the ground for the calculation of the costs, which is going to be charged by the organizer, pursuant to the  following scale:

  • for the cancellation up to 30 days before the Tour organizer  will charge 20% of the price
  • for the  cancellation from 29 to 22 days before Tour 25% of the price
  • for the cancellation from 21 to 15 days before Tour 40% of the price
  • for the cancellation from 14 to 8 days before Tour 80% of the price
  • for the cancellation from 7 to 0 days before the departure, or for “no- show”, or adjourning of the travel that was caused by the customer/client, the organizer will charge 100% of the price.

Client/guest insurance

All guests are insured from personal injuries that may occur during local transfers or during the time when he/she participates in organized open air activities.

Depending on the trip you choose we will send you specific bank account details.
