Day 1-3: Brac Island

Our yoga holiday starts by meeting in Split, the second largest city in Croatia famous for its Diocletian’s Palace – an imposing Roman ruin with a rich and interesting history dating back to the 4th century, protected by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. We will take an afternoon ferry from Split and reach the lovely island of Brac which will enchant you with its incredibly clear sea, pine trees and olive groves. Settling in charming Bol town allows us to relax, let go of all worries and tensions and dive into the peaceful Mediterranean atmosphere.

Each day will start with yoga practice, followed by relaxation, free time and one hike up to Mt Vidova Gora from where you can admire the stunning view over the Dalmatian Islands. Swimming on the most famous Croatian beach in Bol (Golden Cape) and trying the famous local olive oil and fresh produce will definitely be some of the highlights of this portion of the trip. Optional activities like sea kayaking, kite surfing, wind surfing, SUP or active visit of the nearby Hvar Island will be proposed if you wish to explore more beauties of this adventure rich region. Depending on that day’s schedule there might be time for a gentle yoga class before the evening that you can enjoy in one of the waterfront cafes or just relaxing.

Nights: 3* guesthouse in Bol town on Brac Island
Activities: yoga, hiking; optional sea kayaking, kite surfing, wind surfing, SUP, Hvar Island visit
Day 4-6: Novigrad village

We will immerge one last time into the sounds and perfumes of Brac Island and slowly head back to the continent again. The Krka River National Park, which is on the way to our following destination, is one of the most beautiful natural and karst phenomena in Croatia. We will explore it walking by the refreshing waterfalls and experiencing its very rich and diverse living world.

In the late afternoon we reach Novigrad, a place different from what we have seen so far, a little fishermen village situated in a bay at the bottom of majestic Velebit Mountain. We will spend three nights there and enjoy the special energy that the fusion between the mountain and the sea creates. Our daily yoga classes will take place on the beach overlooking the mountain and enjoying the fresh sea air. The rest of the time we will relax in the village, walk up to the 13th century fortress and if you feel like you are in the mood for an urban vibe, spend one evening in the famous town of Zadar. Paklenica National Park which is a real hikers’ and climbers’ paradise due to its amazing rock formations is just a short drive away and we will explore it on foot. Optional activities for this portion of our yoga holiday will be kayaking on the nearby Zrmanja River and rock climbing in Paklenica (if you love rock climbing, this impressive canyon is definitely the best spot in Croatia to try it).

Nights: 3* hotel in Novigrad

Activities: yoga, walking, hiking; optional kayaking and rock climbing

Day 7: Plitvice Lakes National Park and Zagreb

Last but not least, after our last morning yoga today we go deeper into the countryside to find the oldest Croatian National Park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site – Plitvice. The sequence of 16 turquoise lakes linked together with beautiful waterfalls and travertine pools are really as beautiful as in the photos, even more. The lakes are surrounded by beech and pine forests and are home to extensive wildlife. We will walk by the lakes, past the waterfalls and the trails will occasionally lead us up to amazing viewpoints where you will be able to admire the complete picture of this amazing natural attraction.

After the walk in the Park, we continue to the capital to spend the last night of our yoga holiday. Zagreb is a lively city with many interesting spots to visit, nice cafes, restaurants and museums, ideal for a fun last evening and celebration of our adventure before saying goodbye.

Night: 3* hotel in Zagreb

Activities: yoga, walking

The itinerary of this yoga holiday is subject to change without prior notice. Our primary concern is the safety and comfort of our guests. Every reasonable effort will be made to operate the program as planned, but alterations may still occur due to weather conditions, water levels, group preferences and abilities and other exceptional situations.

Day 8: Departure

Today is the last day of our yoga holiday and we transfer you to Zagreb airport, bus station or your next hotel.

If you have time, we suggest you stay a day or two more to explore Zagreb on your own. It’s also very well connected to other parts of Croatia and Europe. Feel free to contact us for advice and travel arrangements.
